Nexis Uni is a legal, business, and news database that aggregates thousands of news sources, including many major national and international publications, newswires, television and radio transcripts, and business sources. Searching Nexis Uni
To get started, log in to Nexis Uni and select "News" from the All Content Types menu (choosing more specific news sources from the list is optional). Enter a search into the main search bar. Nexis Uni supports both natural language and advanced searching (what it calls Terms and Connectors searches), and automatically determines which type of search to run based on the terms entered in the search box.
Here's an example query, looking for articles on New York City's 2024 minimum pay rule for delivery workers (see below for a list of search operators):

On the search results page, Nexis Uni defaults to showing articles by "Relevance." Change the Sort By dropdown menu to "Date (newest-oldest)" or other options to change how the results display. Use the filters on the left to narrow the search results further, such as by Timeline, Source Location, Source Language, or People mentioned.
