    Allows you to search across more than sixty-five unique primary-source collections reproduced from archives and special libraries around the world. In order to limit your search results to items related to North America, select: Restrict Search by / Region / North America. Searches across databases that include: African American Communities; American Indian Newspapers; Popular Culture in Britain and America, 1950-1975 and other databases of potential relevance.

  • Gale Primary Sources (Gale)
    Allows you to search across over 35 databases. Includes digitized representations of Archival collections (as listed on Archives page); but also many other primary source collections relating to America, Britain, and the world in general. Documents date from the sixteenth through the early 21st century. Includes The Making of Modern Law; and U.S. Declassified Documents Online. 

  • Black thought and culture : African Americans from Colonial times to the present.
    Non-fiction works by African-American leaders and others who have dealt substantially with issues of race in America. Includes books, essays, articles, speeches, letters, interviews, and other materials, some of which have not previously been published.
