Selected Organizations

  • AAAS: Association for Asian American Studies

  • Asian American Federation
Established in 1989, with the mission to raise the influence and well-being of the pan-Asian American community through research, policy advocacy, public awareness, and nonprofit support, AAF is the largest umbrella leadership organization in New York serving diverse Asian American communities that make up the fastest-growing population in the city, state, and country.

  • Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC)
Advancing Justice | AAJC is the voice for the Asian American community – the fastest-growing population in the U.S. – fighting for our civil rights through education, litigation, and public policy advocacy. We serve to empower our communities by bringing local and national constituencies together and ensuring Asian Americans are able to participate fully in our democracy.

  • Columbia University: Asian American Alliance
"Founded in the spring of 1995, the Asian American Alliance (AAA) is a student political organization that strives to serve the Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) community at Columbia University. AAA is a collaborative organization that seeks to work with APIA and all students of color groups at Columbia to reach out to members of the university and the outside community at large."

  • National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum
NAPAWF was founded in 1996 to realize the vision of 100 AAPI women who recognized the need for an organization that would amplify AAPI women’s stories and experiences. Being seen and heard in the public narrative gives us the power to shape the policy and cultural change needed to gain agency over our lives, families, and communities.

  • National Council of Asian Pacific Americans: NCAPA
"The National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA), founded in 1996, is a coalition of 37 national Asian Pacific American organizations around the country.
