Industry Research Guide: Trainings

Bloomberg

Bloomberg is a helpful tool for economic data analytics. Here are some tips to help you get started: See the Bloomberg Research Guide for more information

  • Use  the BI  function: for Bloomberg Intelligence  and select your industry from the left bar for full industry report.
  • Schedule an appointment with the Business Librarian for more help.
  • Visit Bloomberg University: After logging to the Bloomberg terminal, type "BU"  for Bloomberg University. Select the seminal or session you would like and register through the terminal.  The seminars are broken down by region, so you might be interested in attending one in your area. NOTE: you must register through Columbia Univeristy Bloomberg terminals to avoid any training fees.

For further assistance with Bloomberg functions and Excel add-ins, please feel free to talk to one of our research librarians.
