New Visions for Public Schools is a private, not-for-profit organization that aims to improve the quality of education children receive in New York City's public schools. Founded in 1989 as the Fund for New York City Public Education, New Visions mobilizes private support for school reform and works with educators, parents, students, city leaders and community partners to develop programs that lead to better instruction, higher student achievement and greater school accountability.
