Welcome to Starr Library!

Our Library offers a wide range of research, instruction, and borrowing services to support all levels of academic research. This basic guide identifies some of the major resources and library services that support research in East Asian Studies at Columbia University, with a focus on western language resources. For more detailed information about relevant print and electronic resources, please consult CLIO, the library catalog, and contact an area specialist librarian if you have any questions. Keep in mind that this guide is meant only as a starting point. The resources listed are by no means exhaustive, but only a minute selection from all the resources available.
