How to Use Subject Headings

1. Make sure you're in CLIO Catalog.

2. Change the dropdown menu to the right of the search box to 'Subject'.

3. Type in the keyword or phrase you're interested (or click on some of the links at right) and your results will include books about your keyword/phrase (so it's not searching titles, authors, descriptions, just subject headings).

N.B. You can also click on the subject headings listed in individual CLIO records. These links will pull up all the results in CLIO that have the same subject heading, which can help you find other relevant sources that may not otherwise surface.
