Biblical Studies: Commentaries
Location of Commentaries
Key scholarly commentaries (e.g. Hermeniea, International Critical Commentary) are located in the main reading room on the third floor. Principal lexica are kept on a reading stand near the commentaries for ease of access/use. Commentaries are arranged in canonical order, with the exception of the Anchor Bible and New Interpreters series, which is shelved as continuous sets.
Butler's Ancient and Medieval Reading Room, located on the sixth floor of Butler Library, also houses many works relevant to biblical studies.
