Bloomberg Help Guide: Getting data out of Bloomberg

Getting started with Bloomberg

The Bloomberg Excel Add-In is a powerful tool that delivers Bloomberg data and analytics into an Excel spreadsheet on the user’s desktop.

To use the Excel Add-In, you must be logged into the Bloomberg terminal.

Choose print from the options at the top right of the screen. The 'Print Job Details' window will appear and you will need to enter your UNI.  This will send a screenshot of what is displaying on the screen to a PawPrint station.  You will need to take your CUID card to a PawPrint station to release the print job.  .

  • Open Microsoft Excel, click on Bloomberg from the menu and choose Import Data.
