SAML can be enabled by using the following steps or executing the registry script below:

Make sure to check the “Is SAML User” checkbox

Manual Option:

Open the Capital IQ settings/login screen and press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + F12 to open “Edit URLs” menu and add the following URL in the “SAML URL” field: https://secure.signin.spglobal.com/sso/saml2/0oa1mrf60nqnayrMX1d8/app/spglobaliam_sp_3/exk1mw4syfjR5fMGh1d8/sso/saml

Registry Script Option

  Save as the text in a new Notepad file as a “.reg” file extension and run the following registry script                 in bold below to enable SAML:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Capital IQ\Office Plug-in]
