To log in to Columbia’s institutional subscription to TheAtlantic.com: 

1. Choose any of the following options:
   • Visit theatlantic.com/columbiauniversity-login
   • Go to The Atlantic Monthly record in the library catalog and click the database link on the right
   • From The Atlantic's sign-in page, click “Sign in through your institution” and search for Columbia University
2. When prompted, enter your UNI and password and complete the Duo prompt
3. On your first visit, the “Tell us about yourself” and newsletter signup prompts are optional; either complete or choose “Skip”

No account sign up is required. Once signed in, you will remain logged in on that device until you sign out or until your browser cache is cleared. If you are logged out, simply follow one of the links above to sign in again.

The subscription provided by the Columbia University Libraries includes:

• All content on TheAtlantic.com, including online-only articles and the Print Edition Archive from 1857-today
• Downloadable PDFs of every magazine issue and audio editions of the magazine, available through your account Library
• Unlimited gift article links to share with non-subscribers

Yes, mobile app access is available. Follow these steps:

1. Download the app for iOS or Android
2. Tap the account icon  at the top-right of the Home screen
3. Select “Sign In” and scroll down to “Sign in through your institution”
4. Search for Columbia University and, when prompted, enter your UNI and password and complete the Duo prompt
