Hello and welcome to the Columbia University Libraries guide to research for the Hacking for Humanity hackathon and the Social Ventures Incubator course. This guide will outline key library resources for secondary research and give you tips for navigating the Libraries at Columbia in general. The Libraries staff are here to support your research needs. Current Columbia students, staff, and faculty can set up a one-on-one or small group consultation with a research expert by emailing business@library.columbia.edu. Consultations are generally scheduled Monday-Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Who can use Columbia Libraries resources?

Most Columbia Libraries resources are restricted to current Columbia students, staff, and faculty. Alumni can access the resources listed on the alumni page of the Libraries website.
