Entrepreneurship at Columbia

Columbia University is home to many entrepreneurship resources, centers, and societies. The following links will get you started in joining CU's entrepreneurship ecosystem.

  • Columbia Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Design: A CU organization that works cross-campus and beyond to support, invigorate, accelerate, and motivate the Columbia community’s programs and culture around innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Use their website to find information about workshops, services, centers, and more around the Columbia ecosystem.
  • Tamer Center for Social Enterprise: The mission of the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise is to educate leaders to use business tools, entrepreneurial skills, and management skills to address social and environmental challenges. We achieve this by supporting the creation and communication of new ideas, and by providing curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for Columbia University students in four key areas of focus.
  • Columbia Organization for Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE): Columbia University's undergraduate entrepreneurship organization.
  • The Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center:  Columbia Business School’s Eugene M. Lang Entrepreneurship Center [The Lang Center] is at the heart of the entrepreneurial, innovation, & VC communities for both students & alumni. The Lang Center’s mission is at the heart of the School’s mission to educate the next generation of global business leaders. At Columbia Business School, entrepreneurial thinking—in identifying, valuing, and capturing opportunity—is an essential part of all aspects of the academic experience.
